Proudn00b is a blog on my transition into programming. I quit my job on July 16, 2010 to take control of my destiny.
My name is Emile Petrone, a San Francisco transplant from Tennessee/ North Carolina. At UNC I had a startup, that got a little press- but ultimately flopped. After that, I worked in ad sales at Yelp and, most recently, at Redbeacon. At Redbeacon, I envisioned the ‘Friendly Advice’ feature that got a lot of attention.
Most of my posts are on Python, Google App Engine, and some CSS.
